The Boys’ Brigade is a UK wide voluntary sector youth organisation for children and young people with around 17,000 members in Scotland. We work with the main denominations of the Christian church.

The BB provides a wide variety of fun and educational activities for children and young people, including camps and holidays.

We now have the opportunity to appoint a Part-Time Development Worker to support the development of The Boys’ Brigade in the North East of Scotland.

Applicants need to be in sympathy with the aims and mission statement of the organisation. The appointment is initially for 18 months and the worker will be home based.

This part-time role (21 hours per week) will work with local volunteers and other nationally employed staff to support and improve the programmes offered to members, and to assist with the delivery of the Brigade’s Development Plan in the area. The position requires flexibly as you will be required to work daytime hours as well as some evenings/weekends.
