YouthLink Scotland the National Agency for Youth Work is recruiting a new Chief Executive Officer following the planned retirement of the present post holder.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual with excellent leadership and organizational ability coupled with knowledge and experience of youth work in both the voluntary and statutory sector.

You will have at least ten years relevant field experience with a substantial part of this in a senior managerial and supervisory role. In addition, the successful applicant will be an accomplished communicator and possess an awareness of the political and policy landscape at local, national and international level. You will have knowledge and understanding of financial probity and experience in operating budgets.

You will be qualified to degree standard or above with a recognized CLD / Youth Work qualification as approved by the CLD Standards Council for Scotland.

The post attracts a non-contributory pension of 9.5% of salary.
