Volunteer Centre Western Isles

The Western Isles young researchers are based on the Isle of Barra. The focus of their research is life on a remote island Mingulay now compared with 100 years ago. The young researchers have interviewed a retired seafarer and a ranger from the National Trust to understand more about the puffin colony on Mingulay and the changes in marine life.
