The Youth Work & Schools Collaborative
This year, we were delighted to launch the Youth Work & Schools Collaborative. It was great to see so many youth work practitioners and other education colleagues come together online to consider how we can work collaboratively to improve outcomes for young people.
The principal aims of the Youth Work and Schools Collaborative are to:
- Inform national policy and funding approaches to raising attainment and closing the poverty related attainment gap.
- Strengthen collaboration between youth work and schools.
The Scottish Attainment Challenge Youth Work & Schools Collaborative is hosting a series of events exploring different aspects of collaboration.
Sessions will provide opportunity for practitioners to share practice, consider practical resources available to support collaboration and engage in reflective conversations. Events are aimed primarily at youth work practitioners and leaders but may also be relevant to other colleagues across the education sector. The first two events are now open for registration here.
