Training

We want to ensure that youth work practitioners are well equipped and feel confident to undertake work around Learning for Sustainability. This page will share current training and development opportunities that are open to youth workers to build awareness, skills, knowledge and confidence.

  • Our Climate Emergency Training for Youth Workers in partnership with Keep Scotland Beautiful is currently closed. You can find out more about Climate Emergency Training opportunities.
  • The Scottish Advisory Panel for Outdoor Education (SAPOE) has launched a professional e-learning course to support individuals and organisations that want to work in partnerships with schools to deliver meaningful outdoor learning. Find out more about the Teaching Learning Outdoors course.
  • SAPOE has also launched a supplementary Supporting Learning Outdoors course to assist non-teaching staff with established outdoor expertise to support the delivery of curricular based outdoor learning.

If you are delivering training on Learning for Sustainability, know of opportunities or would like to collaborate on training for the youth work sector please get in touch with Jenni Snell on JSnell@youthlinkscotland.org
