We reached the SUMMIT!
200 people and 20 webinars over two days. Youth Link Scotland’s Digital Youth Work Summit was busy, inspiring and of course highly relevant during a year when so much youth work is being delivered online.
A quick poll at the end of the event revealed that 44% of attendees were new to digital youth work during 2020.
The Summit aimed to provide a place where delegates could engage with some of the key topics for the sector, learn new skills and discuss the future with like-minded colleagues.
Over the last 10 years YouthLink Scotland has been involved in developing good practice, policy and guidelines around digital youth work. In 2020, the focus on this area has increased massively, simply because of the covid emergency. As well as responding to the immediate need of providing services online during the crisis, the conference was about enabling people in the sector to build the knowledge and skills to integrate digital into youth work practice across Scotland.
