Youth workers supporting young people facing racism and anti semitism - Mapping exercise

We have been asked to develop and support a network for youth workers supporting young people facing racism and antisemitism in Scotland.

Following a consultation meeting with representatives of youth work organisations actively engaged in this work it was proposed that a mapping exercise should take place to identify existing youth groups and networks providing targeted support to young people facing racism and antisemitism.

The aim of this mapping exercise is to:

  • Get a fuller picture of who is currently providing targeted support to young people facing racism and antisemitism and what services they offer.
  • Better understand any support needs these organisations/networks might have.
  • And ensure the proposed YouthLink Scotland network meets any identified support needs and does not duplicate or in any way impede work already taking place.

The survey will be open until 14 November 2022.
