Youth Volunteering Legacy Group

Young Scot (#YSHive) and YouthLink Scotland, supported by The Scottish Government and Project Scotland are looking for 15 young people from across Scotland to be part of the Youth Volunteering Legacy Group

The group will work together to help improve volunteering for young people in Scotland. Young people will be supported by the staff team to think about how they can fulfill the ideas of one of their previous groups, the Youth Volunteering Innovation (YouthVIP) project, delivered in partnership between Young Scot and Project Scotland. From December 2020 – March 2022, the Youth Volunteering Legacy Group began this activity and we are now looking to enhance this group with new members.

No previous experience is needed to take part, as young people will be guided  through everything they need to know.

Young people will help to guide Young Scot, YouthLink Scotland, Scottish Government and Project Scotland in developing volunteering for young people in Scotland and ensure the rights and needs of young people are at the heart of this process.

This project is a part of the #IWill movement in Scotland, breaking down barriers so that all young people have the opportunity to make a difference.

The deadline for applications is 12pm on 15 October 2021.
