National Youth Work Awards 2018

Nominations for the National Youth Work Awards 2019 are now closed. A BIG thank you to everyone who took the time to nominate this year.

The National Youth Work Awards  celebrate youth work and the youth workers who make a difference in the lives of young people every year. Young people are co-designing the event with our staff, member organisations and event sponsors. This includes pre-event planning, selecting the finalists and contributing to the awards ceremony.

This year's categories are:

  • Faith-based Youth Work 
  • Inspirational Leader
  • Mental Health & Well-being
  • Prevention & Inclusion
  • Raising Attainment
  • Skills for Life
  • Team of the Year
  • Time to Shine Arts & Creativity
  • Volunteer Youth Worker
  • Youth Participation
  • Youth Worker of the Year

And finally, the Lifetime Achievement award. This award is in the gift of the Board of YouthLink Scotland. 

The judging panel will meet week beginning 10 December and finalists will be announced in early January.

The National Youth Work Awards Dinner will take place on Wednesday 13 March 2019 in Glasgow.
