National campaign to encourage young people to access sexual health services

Scottish Government, Public Health Scotland and NHS Lothian have worked with Sandyford Clinic to develop a national campaign for young people to encourage them to access services.

The idea behind the campaign was driven by concerns about young people being sexually active during lockdown and not accessing services for fear of being in trouble. It is hoped that the campaign will help young people to know that services are open and they have a right to access them, if they need to. 

Together, they have developed a very short animation which links to a campaign page on NHS Inform with sexual health and pregnancy information and a service finder tool. The animation will be placed on Snapchat and YouTube nationally from 1st December, for 2-3 weeks.
