Supporting young people through and out of lockdown

Youth work organisations are undertaking significant work to prepare for the phased re-introduction of face-to-face delivery of youth work, in line with the Scottish Government Framework.

Developed with the Youth Work COVID-19 Recovery Group, Supporting young people through and out of lockdown outlines what youth work in Scotland might look like during each phase of the route map.

This includes how face-to-face youth work may be gradually, safely scaled up to include small groups and activities in phase 3, as well as additional support for young people at key transition points.

We will continue to review and update this information in line with the Scottish
Government framework for decision making and in light of Scottish Government CLD Guidelines, which will be included when published.

This guide is part of a series of resources YouthLink Scotland is publishing over the summer to demonstrate the role of youth work in Scotland's Covid-19 education recovery.
