Free UK Parliament group workshops

UK Parliament is working with community groups and schools across Scotland to deliver free, fun and empowering workshops about how to engage with parliament and how it works.

An introduction to UK Parliament

The session covers:

  • What Members of Parliament (MPs) do.
  • The work of the members of the House of Lords.
  • Difference between parliament and government.
  • How young people can get their voice heard.

Key Information

  • Workshops are interactive, politically neutral and no prior knowledge is required.
  • We can contact your local MP to join the session and speak with your young people.
