Youth Work Improving Attainment – Call for Participants
YouthLink Scotland is looking for youth work organisations to participate in a national evaluation that will increase evidence of youth work’s impact on closing the attainment gap.
This evaluation will look at youth work's contribution to closing the attainment gap and achieving the goals of the Scottish Attainment Challenge. The first stage, which will run from August to December this year, will focus on how youth work helps young people to succeed in learning and life by improving their health and wellbeing.
We are looking for 10 youth work organisations to take part in this first stage. This will involve collecting data on young people’s health and wellbeing over a 4-month period, along with statements from youth workers and from school personnel. All data will be collected anonymously and analysed by YouthLink Scotland to provide both a national perspective and specific analysis for each organisation.
For more details or to express an interest in taking part please contact Julian Burton at firstname.lastname@example.org or on 0131 313 2488 by 1 August.
