‘Welcome to Your Vote’ awareness sessions
Youth Scotland are running awareness sessions in partnership with the Electoral Commission on 21 and 28 January for youth workers and youth work volunteers to provide an overview of the new ‘Welcome to Your Vote’ resources developed by the Electoral Commission.
The resources are designed to help young people feel more confident about casting their vote and to give them a stronger understanding about which elections they can vote in and the impact this has. They include an educator’s handbook with information and activities, voting guide for young people, interactive webpages and videos.
