Promoting the Impact of your Project: Training for effective influencing at national and local level
Training for youth workers across Scotland in effective influencing at national and local level.
Promoting the impact of youth work and getting your message right. Given the crucial importance, in the current economic climate, of demonstrating the positive benefit of youth work and influencing funders, YouthLink Scotland is offering a full-day training with Kevin Kane, Policy and Research Manager and Sarah Paterson, Communications and Public Affairs Manager.
This FREE training for youth workers across Scotland will be held in the following locations: Edinburgh; Glasgow; Perth; Ayr and Inverness.
Through a series of workshops, presentations and our ‘How to Influence with Impact’ guide for the sector (which will be handed out as part of the training offer) staff and volunteers in the sector, at all levels will get the opportunity to learn how to evidence their impact to funders, local and national politicians.
As a follow on from the training day itself, we will also offer virtual surgeries for youth workers, through Zoom, every couple months, where people can get online with us and ask for assistance and advice.
