Renewed Youth Work Strategy: The story so far...
The renewed Youth Work Strategy is being led in partnership between YouthLink Scotland, Scottish Government and Education Scotland with an anticipated launch of a consultative draft in summer 2020.
During 2019 we have engaged 1000s of young people, youth work practitioners, and stakeholders on the future of youth work in Scotland, asking how YOUR priorities should be reflected in a National Youth Work Strategy.
As part of this period of co-production we are delighted to announce that we will are hosting a “Renewed Youth Work Strategy -The Story so Far” event. We will highlight key themes emerging from Local and Thematic Events, surveys, workshops and information received from networks all over Scotland. We invite you to contribute further by joining us on the day. This free event will take place on 29 January in Glasgow.
Young people will lead on the event organising and feature prominently. So please join us as we share the themes so far and invite more comment as we engage further, so that the renewed strategy is representative of all young people and reflective of the youth work sector.
Online booking and more information. Please note that bookings will close on 22 January for this event. Places are limited to five per organisation and are on a first, come first served basis.
