Take action to #KeepErasmusPlus

Organisations from across the UK join together to save a vital European funding programme which has benefited over half a million people from the UK in the last 30 years.

Erasmus+ is a European funding programme for education, training, youth and sport. It enables people - especially those who can't otherwise afford it - to study, work, volunteer, teach and train in other countries.

#KeepErasmusPlus campaign partners include Young Scot, National Youth Agency, UK Youth, British Youth Council, Scottish Youth Parliament, Council for Wales of Voluntary Youth Services, NUS UK, Scottish Wildlife Trust, LEAP Sports Scotland, YMCA Scotland, and Leonard Cheshire Scotland. They recognise the positive impact Erasmus+ makes to communities and support #KeepErasmusPlus.

The UK’s participation in Erasmus+ after 2020 is unclear. There are other countries like Iceland, Norway and Turkey who aren’t members of the EU who participate as partners in Erasmus+, each with a unique model of participation. We are asking the UK Government to commit to maintaining participation in Erasmus+ programme beyond 2020.
