Youth Work's Role in the Youth Justice System - YouthLink Scotland Policy Seminar

Our Policy Seminars are opportunities for youth work practitioners, policy makers, academics and other interested stakeholders to come together to facilitate networking and collaboration - as well as creating precious time for critical thinking and reflection.

This seminar will explore youth work’s role in prevention, care, recovery and support for young people in the youth justice system. The event will offer delegates an opportunity to hear from a range of excellent contributors working in the field of youth justice and a chance to influence National Justice Priorities.

Youthlink Scotland are looking forward to welcoming Mary Glasgow, the Chief Executive of Children 1st who will provide a keynote address, followed by inputs from the Centre for Youth Criminal Justice, Moira Anderson Foundation, SACRO, No Knives Better Lives, Violence Reduction Unit’s  and a closing address from Defence Solicitor, Iain Keegan Smith. A member of The Scottish Youth Parliament will be reporting for us on the day.
