Updated Access to Facilities survey after restrictions to delivery lifted
Following the First Minister's update on Tuesday 15th March on Covid-19, restrictions to the full opening of all youth work services have been removed.
We are asking the youth work sector to fill out this latest survey so we know how many organisations have the access they need to provide youth work services.
The updated guidance references CLD, including youth work an essential part of the education system, and states: “to emphasise that in-person youth work should be allowed to take place across Scotland and any access barriers addressed to avoid an inequitable picture across the country for young people.”
Given there are still some ongoing issues with access to indoor spaces for youth work providers, we are asking organisations from across the youth work sector to participate in a survey that will give us a snapshot of current access to community, school and other facilities across the country.
So whether you are back to full operation, or you are still struggling to get into the spaces you once used, please complete the latest survey so that we can highlight and overcome ongoing barriers to vital youth work support being offered in schools and other community venues.
Take the latest Access to Facilities survey now.
Deadline Friday 29th April 2022.
