Invisible Spaces - An Arts Opportunity for Young People

Historic Environment Scotland are bringing Visible Girls Revisited to Summerhall in November and December 2018. It’s about young people, clothing, identity, subcultures and music. As part of the Year of Young People, they want Scottish young people to co-design a companion/complementary exhibition alongside it, that’s also about identity in the 21st century. But rather than focus on people, this second exhibition should focus on place. It's about the places and spaces that matter to young people. Clubs, bars, streets corners, football stadiums, gyms, BMX parks, the sofa playing Xbox, whatever young people think of as their space.… The exhibition should be largely (though not exclusively) photographic.

Aimed at young people aged 18-26, the time commitment will be about 10 days over the project.

Closing date: 7 May 2018.
