National Voluntary Youth Organisations Support Fund

National Voluntary Youth Organisations Support Fund 2021-22

The National Voluntary Youth Organisations Support Fund is now open for applications. The purpose of this Scottish Government fund is to support the capacity of national voluntary sector youth organisations to deliver to a high standard and to support the implementation of the new National Youth Work Strategy for Scotland (in development).

Please note that the fund supports internal organisational capacity building and not direct delivery to young people.

COVID-19 Guidance

While we appreciate that current guidance may still be subject to change over the course of the year, please plan the delivery of funded projects according to the Scottish Government’s roadmap out of lockdown and related guidance. If guidance changes we will work with you to review and agree adaptations as required.

Please also note the changes to the fund criteria this year (2021/22) in recognition of the need to consider blended learning models and to support the emerging needs and wellbeing of volunteers and staff members.

Where proposals include large groups, events or residentials you must have a contingency plan in place should ongoing restrictions mean these can’t go ahead.

A pot of £500,000 is available.  Eligible organisations can apply for grants of up to £35,000

The deadline for grant applications is Friday 28th of May

*Please note that there will be no second round in order to ensure that all delivery can take place before the end of March 2022 (no extensions will be available).
