Porticus UK unds charities that are working to strengthen family relationships, enrich education and support transformation through faith. The trust also has its own programme to promote ethics among professionals. While the Catholic faith is central to its work, funding is also available to non-faith-based organisations. The trust puts a particular emphasis on organisations that have a proven model and want to expand. Funds may be sought not only for service delivery but also for the development of policy, advocacy and research. Applicants are asked to carefully review the funding guidelines which are set out on the website. If the project falls within the guidelines, an application form can be downloaded from the website and should be sent to Porticus UK, together with the other information requested, including a break down of project costs and a signed set of their most recent audited accounts.
There is no deadline for funding decisions which are made throughout the year. Grants are usually between £10,000 and £25,000.
Grants are awarded at a variety of levels, proportionate to the organisation, project budget and other salient factors.
