The National Lottery Heritage Fund
The National Lottery Heritage fund is once again accepting project funding applications up to £100,000. This National Lottery funding is there to help the heritage community recover from the effects of the pandemic, and re-engage with the communities hardest hit over the last year.
Grants between £3,000 and £100,000 are available to organisations working with heritage to build their resilience and engage with those most in need in our communities.
Applications are welcome from community groups that are not heritage-based but can deliver heritage focused activity and have not previously received a grant from The National Lottery Heritage Fund.
Heritage can be anything from the past that you value and want to pass on to future generations. Heritage can mean different things to different people. As a guide heritage could include people’s memories and experiences, cultural traditions, nature, community archaeology, collections of objects, books or documents in museums, libraries and archives, history of people and communities or places and events and places and objects linked to our maritime and transport history.
This is a rolling programme so there are no deadlines. You can apply whenever you are ready, your application will be assessed within eight weeks.
