National Lottery Heritage Fund Scotland
The National Lottery Heritage Fund supports all sorts of projects that connect people and communities to heritage. Heritage can mean different things to different people. It can be anything from the past that you value and want to pass onto future generations. Projects could include anything from capturing people’s memories of a particular event or daily life, researching people and places, looking after natural habitats and wildlife, celebrating sporting traditions, helping people to learn traditional skills, delving into diverse cultures or exploring a local museum collection.
National Lottery Grants for Heritage is the main open programme for all types of heritage. Grants start at £3,000 up to millions of pounds (small grants £3,000 to £10,000, medium grants £10,000 to £250,000 and large grants £250,000 to £5 million).
If you have an idea for a project and would like advice before applying please contact the Engagement team. Additional support and guidance is available to groups who have not applied before.
