ALYVE & Kicking: COVID-19 Small Grants
Action for Local Youth Voice Empowerment UK (ALYVE UK) has launched a fund to support local youth forums during COVID-19, as part of its ongoing 'ALYVE & Kicking' small grants initiative. A local youth forum is defined by ALYVE UK as “groups led by young people aged 12-26”.
ALYVE UK is providing small grants averaging £250 or less to local youth forums across Scotland in order to help facilitate them in understanding young people's experiences, views, and opinions with regard to the impact of COVID-19 through research or consultation and advocate on their behalf. This will help local youth forums identify and act on young people's needs and perspectives on the situation regarding COVID-19 within their communities.
Projects and initiatives that are eligible for funding are any that seek to better understand young people’s views related to COVID-19 within the area in which the applicant operates, and then to advocate on their behalf to relevant decision-makers and public authorities.
Applications will be assessed on the first weekend of each month.
