Theme: Youth Voice

Members will have an opportunity to hear from Caitie Dundas MSYP on Scottish Youth Parliament providing a voice for young people in Scotland for 20 years. Davie Donaldson a Scottish Traveller and Social Justice Advocate will be talking about the importance of giving young travellers a voice. There will also be an interactive session on the #iwill campaign and the Participative Democracy Certificate. Kevin our Policy and Research Manager will be providing an update on the development of the National Youth Work Strategy. Places are limited so book early to avoid disappointment. A reminder that lunch will not be provided. See agenda for further information.

We also have a Member’s Space. This is an opportunity for member’s to give a 5 minute update on areas of their work, make any announcements or share good practice. This will be a 20 minute slot and will be available to the first 4 member’s to get in touch. Please let Amy know if you would like a slot at acalder@youthlinkscotland.org

Please note this event is only open to YouthLink Scotland members. Each YouthLink Scotland member has two free places at this event. Additional member places can be purchased for £25 per delegate with a special rate for Youth Work Modern Apprentices/Volunteers (£15). Please contact Amy Calder for further information.

There is also an opportunity to attend a CPD workshop on Impact Evaluation for Youth Work starting straight after the Members Network in the same venue, for more details and to register visit the page on CPD Workshop on Impact Evaluation for Youth Work.
