The course, which develops advanced, practical communication skills, is a combination of theory and hands-on practice which combine to develop true listening and attention, effective communication and valuable insight. It has helped many people to improve their work performance, professional and personal relationships. Counselling skills can enhance the quality of personal relationships and improve workplace performance. This course is also regarded as a first step for people wishing to go on to study for a Counselling Diploma.
Counselling courses are delivered by experienced tutors and throughout the duration of your course, you will be fully supported by your class tutor.
Each course consists of 4 modules, each one progressing from the other consolidating the learning from each previous module. Each module comprises 30 hours of formal instruction and a further 12 hours of private study. You are required to have a minimum attendance of 85% in order to pass the course.
