A year on from the publication of the Community Experiences of Serious Organised Crime in Scotland research report, this event examines the latest guidance and good practice on how to identify, support, and help young and vulnerable victims of criminal exploitation.

Key issues to be addressed:

  • Update on the policy context in Scotland, including an examination of the ‘Community experiences of serious organised crime in Scotland: research report’.
  • Establishing effective partnerships across statutory and non-statutory sectors.
  • Strengthening detection and prevention strategies through a co-ordinated response.
  • Detecting victims or at-risk children and vulnerable people.
  • Good practice case studies on detection and response.
  • Promoting multi-agency working and information sharing.

This event will be of interest to anyone looking to support vulnerable victims of criminal exploitation including: child protection professionals and social workers, victim support organisations, legal professionals, and organisations working in the justice sector, among others.
