Climate Action and the Role of Youth Work

Back to events

We are pleased to announce our next policy seminar will take place on “Earth Day”, Wednesday 22 April 2020 in Stirling. The theme for this policy seminar is Climate Action and the Role of Youth Work!

We can already announce that Girlguiding Scotland will update on their Plastic Promise campaign and you will hear from the Marine Conservation Society about how they are engaging young people in climate change action.

More detail on themes for the day, speakers, and content will follow in due course.

However, we hope you will save the date and join us on the day as part of the year of Coasts and Waters, to discuss how youth workers and the youth work sector can take action through ambition and innovation to seize the enormous potential of the youth work sector in tackling the climate change crisis.

Online booking is now available for this event.

Please contact Kevin Kane on kkane@youthlinkscotland.org for more information or if you are interested in taking part either as a speaker or delegate.
